a degreed Meteorologist playing the part of a Data Scientist during the day. Living in Virginia since late 2009, I enjoy taking pictures, capturing reflected, visible light showing nature and human-made beauty.

Sometimes what seems the most iniquitous moment turns into a time worth capturing. You never know and that's what makes it special. Pictures provide the physical mechanism enabling us to travel the conduit into our memories eliciting deep feels of yesteryear. It's our mechanism for capturing reflected light, immediately transporting us directly into the past.

What you will see within my galleries are shots taken within a moment (typically out on trips with my family), i.e., impromptu shots, meaning I do not go out and "chase" certain shots and to me, this makes the shots that much better. Can you find much better prints out there, yes, of course, however, I try to make the best in a given situation come to life ... and that to me makes it special.
